Most of the tools on this site run entirely in your browser using JavaScript, which means your files and text are processed on your own device rather than uploaded to a server. The temporary email tool is the one exception: it needs a real inbox somewhere to receive mail, so it uses a public email service built for exactly this purpose. Each tool's page explains exactly how it works and what happens to your data.
A little guidance goes a long way

From a photograph to a checked document
Suppose a product illustration needs to join a short PDF submission. Remove its background, inspect the transparent result, convert the prepared image into a PDF page, and merge that page with the existing documents. Keep the original files until the final PDF has been opened and checked.

- Remove the background and inspect the result on both light and dark surfaces.
- Convert the prepared image. Each image becomes a page; this does not add searchable OCR text.
- Arrange and merge the PDF files. Open the download to check page order, dimensions, and readability.
Use the image guide and PDF guide for the detailed checks.
What stays local and what needs a service
Text transformations, PDF conversion, QR generation, and image processing operate on your device. Pages, libraries, fonts, and the background model still need to load over a network. Temporary email uses an external mail provider through our backend; contact forms send information to our support systems. Read the privacy policy for those differences.
No public account is required for the tools. Device memory, input size, and external service availability can affect a workflow. Report a reproducible problem through Contact using sample data instead of private files.
Choose a guide by task
- Images and documents: inspect a cutout, then assemble and check a PDF. Compare the recorded image-format experiment before choosing a source format.
- Data and text: debug a fictional API record, compare JSON parsing results, and check how emoji and Unicode are counted.
- Permitted email tests: choose an inbox by how long you need access. Use an application you own or are authorized to test and keep recovery accounts on a durable address.
How we test examples
Our experiments use fixed synthetic inputs, actual browser runs, screenshots, and downloadable results. We compare values with expected outputs and reopen generated PDFs to check their pages. The editorial process explains AI assistance and the limits of automated checks; physical-device and external-delivery tests are separate.
